Environment Conservation Volunteer Program

Environment Conservation volunteer program run by Nam Charity Tanzania plays a cornerstone role in biodiversity and eco-systems conservation in Tanznia. Join our forests and habitat restoration efforts, while you work alongside community members on projects that support development and conservation.

Participants on our environment conservation volunteer program have the opportunity to do afforestation work, community education including working in national parks and reserves as well as educating others about the importance of environment conservation.

We implement a diverse range of environment conservation projects across Africa. Getting involved in our Environment conservation volunteer program in Africa is a wonderful way to experience the environmental wonders of the world, while playing an active role in conserving these precious ecosystems.

Our environment conservation program consists of tree planting projects across Africa. We provide a long-term solution to fighting deforestation in Africa by reducing the demand for wood, causing the destruction of indigenous forests. The tree planting project directly fights deforestation by planting thousands of quick-growing trees at household and community levels and this in turn provide a sustainable source of firewood and timber for local people.

There is no need to have an environmental science background to volunteer on our environment conservation projects. The environment conservation placements are open to all volunteers whether you are on a gap year, at university or wanting a career break.

Environment Conservation is one of Go Volunteer Africa's main pillars of activity across Africa. Volunteer with our Environment conservation program and leave a positive mark in Africa
